While in town awaiting a cruise, we spotted the Petrini's menu in the hotel. The clerk said they deliver room service and that the restaurant is right across the street. After we settled into our room, we walked over for lunch. We were welcomed promptly and Pablo was our server. We did not utilize the restrooms; however, the dining area looked clean and inviting. The main doors were open allowing for a nice breeze. Unfortunately, we smelled marijuana some while dining, which may have been wafting in from the street. Our food was delicious and we enjoyed being able to walk so closely to try a new-to-us restaurant. If we, or you, are in the area and desire some great Italian food, Petrini's is the place to be!

Everything was fresh and tasted delicious. The house salad had fresh greens and tomatoes, croutons that were crunchy but not hard, and just the right amount of cheese and Italian dressing. The penne pasta was cooked to perfection, and was topped with just the right amount of meat sauce, mushrooms, and spices. The tiramisu was some of the best I’ve ever had. Great flavor that melts in your mouth.

We’re from out of town; we came here for dinner on our first night in San Diego. So glad we did. Short walk from our hotel at the Westin. No problem getting a reservation at all. Got seated within a few minutes of arrival. Service was very good. Table space was comfortable for 5 of us. Wine was yummy. Food was very tasty. So glad we came here. Experience was very nice and warming. Great place to dine. Would totally come back. I recommend stopping by this place, but get a reservation!

The food and atmosphere were over the top. And our waiter Paolo was the star of our visit. He truly went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of. He was one of the best we have ever had in over 70 years of eating out. Thank you Paolo

Hands down the best restaurant I’ve ever been too especially the atmosphere the beautiful faces with the kind hearts to match is amazing. I will keep going there no matter what! Meeting the people there is the reason why I’m considering moving to the area. Very good restaurant! Very cozy and the best food you’ll eat!!!

Lasagna with meat sauce is the way to go, try it out. You will not be disappointed, I walked into this restaurant many years ago.I keep coming back for more. My family had Shrimp Scampi, Pepperoni Pizza and Hamburger Panini with chips.

The food was absolutely amazing. The parpadelle with lamb was great, and the Tiramisu makes a great dessert. Andres was a brilliant host, and the ambience and atmosphere was also very nice. Meal was so good, we wrote the review immediately after. 10/10 worth visiting time and again.
